Learner Response January assesment

 1) Type up your feedback in full (you don't need to write the mark and grade if you want to keep this confidential).

WWW-
You start very strongly with excellent skills shown for the unseen analysis. Now all you need to do is add the knowledge and exam technique to match that in the other questions

EBI-
Revise industry+ psb quiet a few 'easy marks' gone in question 3/4
In question 4 you use examples well but don't know the theories well enough

2) Read the mark scheme for this assessment carefully. Identify at least one potential point that you missed out on for each question in the assessment.

Question 1- I honestly feel as though i did well for this question as i missed only two marks and picked up majority of the marks and there fore i have missed out small details. however if i were to be able to catch all of the marks in this question, i feel like i would have to had comment on the current state of the u.k and how this could have linked with the current state of the u.k

Question 2- Here i received 3 out of a total of 6 marks. in this question i missed 2 clear marks as the question was linked with power and i included statements that were somewhat irrelevant to the main focus of the question and  so in the future i need to look out for the relevance of my answer towards each question and see if the answer I've given links with the question in itself.

Question 3- In this question i think is what really brought me down as i only achieved one mark out of nine despite writing a heavy amount of answers. If i'm honest i think this was genuinely a problem with me as even after reading the feedback i don't see really where my work was irrelevant to the main point so i just need to really find how deeply the question asks for relevance and therefore shouldn't base my whole answer off a point even if i feel as though its valid.

Question 4- Although 6 out of 20 might seem like a bad score i feel as this is an achievement for me. In previous media assessments, i always found it hard to manage my time efficiently and often wouldn't be able to make it to the 20 mark question and rarely fill it out to a decent extent however during this test i wads able to answer every question to the amount i would have wanted and almost achieved a half margin of this question which to me was well. If i were to do better in this test all that's left to do is fully memorise the named theories and be able to apply them to the tests as after the last test my goal was to improve the time management which i have accomplished.

3) On a scale of 1-10 (1 = low, 10 = high), how much revision and preparation did you do for this assessment? You may also want to think here whether you had completed all the original blog tasks from last term before doing the assessment.

Honestly i feel as though i only reached a level of 4 linking to revision. I of course did all my blog tasks and class work however as it was the holidays and i went to a foreign country and reunited with family i had to split my time effectively between the revision. This would have been easily  manageable however i also had my b tech business essay which was due on the return of school which was around 10 pages long and so i spent most of my time focusing on that, i only really managed to revise properly on the last few days of the holidays which was also divided as it was a festive season and i was travelling back home.

4) Look at your answer for Question 2. Did you manage to write about three different strategies and three different benefits? It's vital you read the question and follow it exactly.

I did and got acknowledged for two of my statements however only one pf them i didnt recieve any marks for as i seemed to link celebrity endorsement with social media power which to this day i still find partially links however it appears to not be fully correct and therefore resulted in losing the two marks in that section
