WWW-This is a complete mix: Q1 and Q4 are very solid and close to the higher levels however this needs to be maintained through the whole paper. Revision and exam technique could help with this.
EBI-Social and cultural context (Q2) is a major part of media exams so we will focus more one these subjects in lesson.Keep an eye on written English and make sure enough his being written for the 20 mark question.
2) Read the mark scheme for this assessment carefully. Identify at least one potential point that you missed out on for each question in the assessment.
Q1- Use a wider variety of different narrative codes.
Q2- I should have wrote more however I think the other side of the sheet where I further explained my answer was not marked.
Q3- Answer the question
Q4- It was all going well I had valid points, Ran out of time I should have planned my time more efficiently.
3) Read this exemplar response from a previous Year 12 (an A grade) - note this was a slightly different paper in terms of the question wording (we've updated it to better reflect recent exams). Identify at least one potential point for each question from this student's paper that you could have mentioned in your assessment.
Q1- Use stereotypes to link the intentions of the advertisements to the audience.
Q2-Compare both sources simultaneously for example when explaining something that one study has and the other might not have to mention it.
Q3-answer fully
Q4- finish the rest with potential contrasts
4) Did you get any media terminology or theory wrong in the assessment? Make a note of it here for future revision, including theories/terminology that you could have used but didn't.
i feel as though all i need to do is manage my time better between the questions (1 mark per minute) as well as keep in mind what all the theories and who their theorists are. My main concern overall though is linked with timing which i plan to work on through mock papers with real exam timing to help me plan my timing efficiently.

i missed out on q3 so i feel as though that was my weakness.
